James Ross, Trumpet

James Ross has been a member of the Orchestra since 1995. In addition to his work with the MET, James has also been guest Principal Trumpet with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra , the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the New York Pops and has been a guest of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the St. Louis Symphony.

James has also been a member of the New York Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Opera Orchestra. Since 2018 me has also been on the faculty of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada where he mentors and teaches.
