David Romano, Double Bass Associate

David Romano has played with the Met opera since 2017. He is also a member of the American Ballet Theatre Orchestra, and plays frequently with the New Jersey Symphony, the Stamford Symphony, New York City Ballet, The Little Orchestra Society, and the New York Pops. He was a member of the Orquestra Symphonica di Galicia (Spain) and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra (Sweden). David has played on over 25 Broadway shows and was the bass player for the first national tour of the Lion King. He played bass on two national tours and one international tour for Barbra Streisand and played on Billy Joel’s concert “The Last Play at Shea”.
