Introducing MET Orchestra Spotlight Series OPENS NOV 22 at 3pm EST

Join the MET Orchestra Musicians NOV 22 at 3PM EST for the opening concert of their NEW Spotlight Series. Tickets available here. The program will include the beloved opera aria Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot arranged for four horns, Tchaikovsky’s tour de force for string sextet, Souvenir de Florence and the genre-bending string quartet Strum by one of the hottest young composers of our time, Jessie Montgomery. All performed live from The High Line / Highline Nine in New York City.

We’ll also hear an update about the ongoing research of Princeton Engineering collaborating with the MET Orchestra Musicians to determine how to return to live performances safely. After the music, stay with us for a live conversation with the performers hosted by one of the most gifted and distinguished tenors of his generation, Matthew Polenzani. Watch the concert at home on any device and take part in our live conversation after the performances.

***This unique platform was independently created and produced by the MET Orchestra Musicians and is not affiliated with The Metropolitan Opera. All proceeds of these concerts directly fund MET Orchestra Musicians in need.
