Jacqueline Mullen, cello

Jacqueline Mullen studied with Leonard Rose at the Juilliard School. Additional studies were with Zara Nelsova and Lynn Harrell. She began playing at the Met in 1984, after a season with the San Francisco Opera. After participating in the Aspen Music Festival for 6 summers, she has been playing in the Grand Teton Music Festival (Jackson Hole, Wyoming) every summer since 1980. She loves to ski and hike and is working hard at becoming a better skate skiier. On free mornings, she can sometimes be found doing cooking demos at the farmers markets, using the ingredients brought in for sale.
